Oxalate (Individual Antigens)
Some patients feel that they have become sensitive to oxalates and feel better on a low-oxalate diet. Many people show high oxalate levels on urine organic acids testing, but that is not of any clear clinical significance. This “antigen” is simply a sterilized dilution of the product “Barkeepers Friend,” which is mostly oxalic acid. Anyone can make this at home.

• Those who think they are sensitive to oxalates.
